Some families may have noticed that the cardiac surgical problem at BC Children’s Hospital has been in the news due to the disruption of some surgeries.

Our Hearts of Gold coordinator, Kristi Coldwell, did a fabulous job in a recent interview on Global News. Kristi shared how we have adapted our HOG program during COVID times to ensure our heart teens are connecting with their friends and being supported.

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation is looking for heart families that are interested in sharing their story and a photo for the upcoming Heart Month campaign in February 2021.

This new-to-Canada movement, designed for giving and volunteering, takes place each year after Cyber Monday. The opening day of the giving season is a day where charities, companies, and individuals join together to share commitments, rally for favourite causes, and think about others.
