As a member of the CHN volunteer team, your commitment to the organization is priceless. By volunteering your time, you are not only filling an important position in our organization, but you are also assisting us in carrying out our mission. The work of CHN would not be possible without our team of volunteers who offer their skills, experience, and time.
Who are our volunteers?
Most are parents, grandparents, and siblings from all across the province helping from their homes and within their communities. Some are students from post-secondary institutions looking for meaningful experiences. Some are professionals who bring their talents and hobbies to our families and children as guest speakers.
What do our volunteers do?
Our volunteers get involved in various ways, including helping at events, collecting donations for the CHN Wine and Dinner Gala, organizing parent coffee groups, planning community fundraisers, and serving on one of our committees. Volunteers also join the Board and help guide CHN to ensure we fulfill our mission to provide support, education, and information to children and families living with heart disease.
