This May, the Vancouver Aquarium hosted its 15th annual Dreamnight. Each year, over 1,000 children with life-threatening illnesses are invited to experience the aquarium with their families.
Of all the events the Children’s Heart Network has organized, one of my favourites so far has been the opportunity to go to Camp Thunderbird on Vancouver Island at the beginning of June.
The Children’s Heart Network is hosting CPR/AED workshops for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and teens.
Getting to be part of Hearts of Gold and going to Camp Zajac with them was a huge honour. I met teenagers from all over B.C. with whom I share a unique connection.
