We wanted to let you know that we take the ongoing situation with COVID-19 very seriously. The health and safety of our children and families is our top priority.

We have just had official word that the July camp has been cancelled. If your child is currently registered and you have paid the $75 deposit, we will reimburse you ASAP. Please email us at chn@childrensheartnetwork.org and confirm your name and mailing address, and we will send you a refund cheque.

Are you ready to come to camp?

The Children’s Heart Network invites all members between the ages of 8 and 13 to come to Camp Zajac from Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 10. Have a great time while making friends with other heart kids your age. Swimming, canoeing, a ropes course, arts and crafts, games, horseback riding, campfires, and more!

This is a mixed medical camp, so there will be children from other medical groups attending, not just heart kids. Parents will deliver their children to Camp Zajac in Mission on Monday and will pick them up on Friday.

When: July 6–10

Where: Zajac Ranch for Children, Mission, BC

Who: Children aged 8–13 years

Note: The camp will fill up quickly this year, as the Easter Seals camp was closed. Please don’t wait to register, or it may be full.

If your child would like to come to camp, here is what you need to do:

  1. Ensure your CHN membership is up to date. If you need to renew, please visit www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/childrens-heart-network and choose “CHN membership” from the drop-down list. The cost is $25 per family per year.
  2. Send the registration fee of $75.00 to Children’s Heart Network by either a) e-transfer to chn@childrensheartnetwork.org or b) cheque to Children’s Heart Network, #300-5151 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC, V5E 3N1. Please note your child’s name in the e-transfer message or on the cheque. The CHN will cover the balance of your child’s camp cost, which is $700.
  3. Register online at Zajac Ranch for Children Online Camper Registration. Choose the payment option that says “Paid by medical organization.” Note: You will need to make a doctor’s appointment to get the medical forms completed. If you have any questions, please email Justin at rentals@zajacranch.com.

Once your application is received by Camp Zajac, they will email you all the details regarding getting your child to camp.
