Are you ready for some fun in the sun?
CHN invites all members to our annual event at the Cultus Lake Waterpark. Enjoy a memorable day connecting with other heart families!
When: Saturday, August 24, 10 am to 3 pm
Note: Lunch is included and is available from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, so please don’t arrive late.
Where: Cultus Lake Waterpark, 4150 Columbia Valley Highway, Cultus Lake
Parking: There will be a $5 fee per car; however, the tickets and lunch will be covered by CHN.
Where to find the group: When you enter the park, turn to your left and walk to the far left corner; look for the CHN flags and signs behind the Pirates’ Cove spray park for little kids.
What to bring: Towels, blankets, lawn chairs, sunscreen, snacks.
Island families: We are arranging a bus from Tsawwassen Ferry terminal to and from Cultus Lake, so please let us know ASAP if you would like to come over on the ferry and join us, as well as how many are in your family. It will likely be a long day, departing the Swartz Bay and Duke Point ferry terminals at about 8 am and returning on an evening ferry.
What you need to do:
- Ensure your CHN membership is up to date. To join or renew, please visit www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/childrens-heart-network and choose “CHN membership” from the drop-down list. The cost is $25 per family per year.
- RSVP before August 10 to saitken@childrensheartnetwork.org with the number of children that are over four years old and the number of adults. Immediate family members only, please. Island families, please RSVP as soon as possible so we can arrange for the proper size bus.
- We will email you the tickets to print and bring with you.
