This Valentine’s Day, start your morning off with the true gift of love and support for those affected with congenital heart disease! The Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance (CCHA), a registered charity, will be hosting a Congenital Heart Warriors Walk on February 14th, 2015, in support of Canadians born with heart defects.

You can register in person on the day of the event between 930 am and 1030 am. Adults and youth are $25, children 10 years and under are free.

The walk will be held in Abbotsford, BC, at Mill Lake Park, Shelter #4 off Bevan Avenue, where the red playground and train are located. It will start at 10:30 am and finish at 1:00 pm. It is a beautiful scenic walk along a fully flat paved walking path around a lake that houses many ducks and birds. One loop around is 2.2 km and the park consists of 3 different playgrounds and many benches along the way to rest at if required. The walking path also accommodates strollers, wheelchairs and walkers for those who require them but still wish to join. There will be hot chocolate and a light snack provided with each registration! Also provided is a CCHA drawstring gym bag. There will be a fun interactive warmup for all ages and activity levels, games, balloons, and a demonstration held by Sung Hang Do Martial Arts.
