What a magnificent wine gala! This year was exceptional, as we hit the impressive milestone of raising $1 million in total over the last 19 years of galas. The evening itself was also a triumph, raising over $100,000 in support of children living with congenital heart defects and their families. The Children’s Heart Network of BC is an invaluable organization that provides over 1,000 heart families in BC with programming, training, and opportunities to come together as a community throughout the year.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and guests, who made this event a resounding success. We also want to give special thanks to our fabulous emcee, John Emmet Tracy, our auctioneer, Fred Lee, and our speakers, Dr. Shu Sanatani and Lydia Schwartz. Their contributions were an essential part of the evening’s success. The board would also like to thank Dee de los Santos and Serena Mawani, our gala coordinators, for their tireless efforts, hard work and commitment to the cause!
